So the Coldplay concert on Friday night was awesome! First we tailgated in the out in the parking lot first with friends, eventually moving inside about 9 pm.
Unfortunately they only played 1.5 hours!? I do think they played a better show 3 years ago when I saw them at was once the "Tweeter Center" however I don't want to complain....
Coldplay opened with "Violet Hill" standing behind a "sreen"...then Chris Martin broke out with an acoustic guitar with “Life in Technicolor." Then, the curtain came up to reveal the backdrop of Eugene Delacroix’s bare breasted Liberty Leading The People. The band wore blue and red military outfits as seen in the pictures. No black shirt with holes in the armpits this time, lol. They played past hits like "Yellow", "Speed of Sound," "Clocks," "Fix You," "The Scientist," and nearly all of Vida. Then for the encore....my personal favorite...."Green Eyes!"
I am also proud to report that my mom & dad had no major problems watching the kids (Nick did bring a watergun in the house to squirt my dad). In fact they fed Anna so much that she slept through the night til 5 am!?
