Color Me Mine

My friend just recently told me about this cute little place in Wayne. She and her daughter went there with friends last Saturday to hear a story and then paint their own pottery. How cute is that, not to mention a great new indoor activity with all the snow we've been having!? I cannot wait until my daughter is old enough to do this with me.

Paint Me A Story is toddler/parent story hour. First, they read a book and then the kids paint an item related to the story. Small snack is included.
Registration with pre-payment is required - $20 + tax per child. Register by calling us at 610-687-9777.

Snow Ice Cream

Since we're all "snowed in" out here in Chester County I thought it was only appropriate to post a recipe for Snow Ice Cream. With the amount of snow we have (about 20" yesterday....on top of our 24" of snow from last week) our family will be eating snow ice cream for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner, lol!?

1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
mix until dissolved
add 4 cups snow...Voila!
